Heroin and Your Veins is music for the sake of music, given birth by my subconscious with spontaneity as a midwife. I am influenced by a variety of things from Chet Baker’s death to Tom Waits’s sense of humour and from David Lynch’s ideas to Chesterfield cigarettes.

Heroin and Your Veins tek başına takılan, tüm sorumluluğu omuzlarına eşit miktarda dağıtan bir adam aslında, Janne Perttula. Çalıyor. Düşünüyor. Üretiyor, ama söylemiyor:

I don’t know what a good describing word for my music would be. It is instrumental, because I’m not sure if I want to tell anyone anything and if I even have anything to tell.

2007’de yayınlanan ilk albüm Dead People’s Trails’in ardından 2009’da Nausea, Verdura etiketiyle Perttula’nın diskografisindeki yerini aldı. Bilmiyorsanız, duymadıysanız dahi geç kalmadınız zira Perttula’nın bandcamp sayfası hala keşfetmediyseniz orada, kurcalanmayı bekliyor.

It is incorrect to say this is a solo project. Projects have beginnings and endings, Heroin and Your Veins doesn’t. It is because it is.

‘Öyleyken böyle’ diyor yani Perttula:

"Music is organized sound" - Edgard Varèse Yet another partially-industrialized fully-organized music tumblog which belongs to my previous weekly radio show whose aim was to stream "other" tunes to listeners. You may listen to on wednesdays @21.00 - 23.00 (CET +1) via Radyo ODTU FM 103.1 (for Ankara, Turkey) or http://www.radyoodtu.com.tr (for the row) Me? You may call me as a devoted radio broadcaster, desperate economics student, novice auditor, constant banana-lover, heartland rocker, control freak or just a girl who floats in space. Though, primarily I am a semi-utilized music consumer and therefore, not on my indifference curve yet. I'm still aiming for "the greatest happiness for the greatest number of people". And yes, I love John Stuart Mill. However, if you're still interested in something/somewhere much more personal, here is my soon-to-be-updated spinoff for you...
